Richard is a recognized expert in the field of optimization science as it applies to a range of industries including natural resources, transportation, and the Internet. Over the past 15 years, he has been chief scientist at Delphinity and Paramark, two early pioneers in the optimization of online advertising campaigns with clients such as JP Morgan Chase, Capital One, and Ogilvy Interactive. Richard also worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Applied Decision Analysis where he pioneered the development and implementation of real option valuation methodologies for asset valuation.
Richard holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mathematics from Cambridge University and a Ph.D. in Operations Research from Stanford University.
